The BCTF is pleased to announce a new campaign designed to raise awareness and spark action on education funding. The website has recently gone live,

This new initiative was timed to be released now because the 2016 provincial budget will be announced on February 16.
Teachers, parents, and supporters can reach out directly to MLAs through the website and put pressure on them to provide better funding for our schools. The campaign will continue into the budget-setting period at the school board level.
This type of campaign is called “out-of-home” advertising because it focuses on outdoor ads on billboards and transit shelters. Over the next few days, members driving to work or waiting for the bus will see our ads start popping up in communities throughout the province. The boards will stay up for one month and, if there are cases where the boards have not been purchased by other advertisers, they will stay up longer.
