Society of BC

The Society was established in 2022 as a means to bring awareness of what ADHD is and what it is not. The Society's mandate is to share up-to-date information with the ADHD community about the resources that are available specifically, but not exclusively, in British Columbia.

​ARC-BC

The Accessible Resource Centre - British Columbia is a BC Ministry of Education and Child Care funded response to the growing demand for digital accessible format alternatives to hard-copy print learning materials. The goal of ARC-BC is to provide BC students with perceptual (or print) disabilities and their educational teams with high quality digital alternate format materials that align with BC's K-12 curriculum.

The Canucks Autism Network is working toward a future where every Autistic individual is understood, accepted and supported in every community space. They deliver programs for children, youth and adults while while promoting inclusion across BC and beyond.

​Institute of BC

The Family Support Institute of BC is a provincial non-profit society dedicated to empowering and supporting families who have a family member with a disability. Its extensive volunteer network provides peer-to-peer support, information, events & training free to families across BC.

Learn. Develop. Succeed. LDS is a nonprofit charity and their mission is to empower all children, youth, and adults with learning differences to recognize their unique strengths and develop the tools to achieve lifelong independence, confidence, and success.

POPFASD
POPFASD supports educators who support learners with FASD. They provide free training options. They create their own stuff and curate amazing resources from around the web. They facilitate livestreams with experts and those with lived experience.

SET-BC's vision is to build the capacity of all BC school districts to support their students by facilitating access to and knowledge of assistive technology, related resources, and training. They aim to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to feel belonging, connection, and purpose in the educational settings while building a foundation of self-confidence and ability for their future aspirations.
