This introductory workshop is designed for school professionals who wish to gain a foundational understanding of the PDA profile and why some students resist even positive classroom strategies. We will explore PDA as a stress-response and drive for autonomy. What is truly supportive for PDA nervous systems and how do we fit into an inclusive environment?

Sam is a counsellor specializing in neurodivergence with a special interest in the PDA profile. They provide crucial support to families and offer consultations and training for schools to build more supportive classrooms. A passionate advocate for inclusion and universal design, Sam is dedicated to creating environments where neurodivergent individuals can truly thrive. Their work empowers families and educators with practical strategies that foster understanding, connection, and success for everyone.
