Sensory Tips, Tricks & Tools for the Classroom
Sensory Tips, Tricks & Tools for the Classroom
This session will cover a brief overview of sensory processing, sensory overwhelm and their connection to our states of regulation. We will then do a dive into all of the sensory systems and learn how and what to do so that they can be used to support and restore regulation for students in the classroom.

Megan has been working as a Paediatric Occupational therapist for 23 years. She worked for 11 years in a school-based mental health program for elementary school aged children, where she discovered her passion for sensory processing and regulation. She currently sees children ages 2-18 at her private clinic in Ladner and also provides weekly OT services at several schools in the Lower Mainland. She is excited to share her love for this work and hopes to ignite a spark in her attendees to see their students through a sensory lens.
