This session will be focused on the impact of trauma on children and will encompass how trauma impacts all human brains and nervous systems.
We will discuss the neuroscience of behavior, regulation and co-regulation in the classroom as well as exploring brain-based relational ways of bringing regulation into the classroom.

Emily MacLeod is an SD40 primary teacher with a Master’s Degree in Inclusion and Educational Leadership, nearly two decades of experience as a primary teacher, and the joy of being a mother to three children. Emily is passionate about fostering inclusive education and supporting all students to thrive at school.
