In this session, we will talk about ways to make kids feel safe so they are willing to engage in math lessons and take risks.

Heather is a teacher in SD 67. She teaches math in Summerland. She loves to show students the beauty of math. This year her focus is creating a caring, safe math community. When Heather is not teaching, she is playing outside or watching her daughter dance.
