Collaborative Practice: The Key to Successful Inclusion for Deaf or
Hard of Hearing Children Attending Neighbourhood Schools
Learn how collaborative practice among educators, specialists, families and members of the Deaf community is critical for the successful inclusion of Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH) children attending neighborhood schools. Learn how one district fostered open communication, developed shared goals, and tailored support to ensure that D/HH students receive equitable education and feel a sense of belonging within the school community.
