Mischa Oak (he/him) is a former BC teacher who has dedicated his career to helping others foster diversity and Two-Spirit & LGBTQ+ inclusion excellence. Through his company, LGBTQ Inclusion Training, Mischa advises school districts, care providers, multinational companies, First Nations, and international development projects. Mischa's acclaimed TEDx talk will be featured globally as a TED "Editor's Pick" for its powerful impact sometime in 2025. His book "Rainbow Wisdom: 18 LGBTQ+ Life Lessons for Everyone" will be released North America-wide in 2026. Mischa's advocacy career includes working for same-sex marriage legalization, coordinating Vancouver Pride, and advocating for transgender rights in the BC school system. Mischa is a Loran Scholar with an MEd in Social Justice Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning.
