A Practical Lesson Plan for Cultivating Understanding of Neurodiversity in the Classroom

In this session, the author of The Animals in my Brain; A kids guide to understanding and controlling their behaviour, Sarah Joseph, offers teachers a practical lesson plan for teaching students about the brain and neurodiversity. Sarah Joseph is an author, registered MSW, Certified Positive Discipline Trainer, and a doTERRA Gold Leader.

She is a single mother of two and has been blessed to find a piece of paradise to call home on the Sunshine Coast of beautiful British Columbia, Canada. Although she has a home office where she provides services, she also utilizes technology to serve those clients who are not local and she enjoys travelling to visit clients worldwide.

In 2009, she founded Prenatal to Parenting which transitioned into SarahJoseph.ca in 2015. Her passion for empowering people to be their best selves and live their best lives has driven her continued learning and business plan. She is passionate about providing people with tangible tools for creating deeper connections, joy and courage. She has been working with familiies in a variety of settings since 2007, including counselling, consulting, support groups and developing and delivering educational workshops.

She is the author the best selling children's book, "Animals in my Brain, A kid's guide to understanding and controlling their behaviour", the eBook "Peaceful Parenting: 7 Strategies for Creating More Peace in Your Family", and the forthcoming book, "Cultivate, more of what you want". Her articles have been featured online in publications like "Natural Parent's Network", "Vancouver Mom", "Modern Mama", "Kid's Vancouver", and "The Survival Guide for Rookie Moms".

In 2011, she realized that an essential part of her parenting tool box was essential oils. So adding essential oil education and sales to my services was a natural extension. Being able to offer families a tangible, safe, effective, and affordable tool brings her so much joy and she loves seeing the amazing results. doTERRA has allowed her to build a successful international network marketing business which has brought much abundance to her life. She has a wonderful team of passionate women who have built their own successful soul based businesses and have built meaningful connections in their lives. doTERRA has provided her with another avenue for empowering people to live their best life.
