Jan Arneson - Session 3
The Masturbation Situation
The Masturbation Situation
This session explores the often-avoided topic of masturbation and why it is important to address it openly in the context of sexual health and support. Together we will examine definitions, scientific facts, statistics, and historical perspectives while reflecting on the unconscious biases that can make this topic uncomfortable. We will discuss the consequences that arise when individuals do not receive appropriate guidance or support and we will explore practical strategies for responding to concerning behaviours. You will leave with understanding and skills to support dignity, privacy and healthy exploration of self and sexuality.
