Count Me In! Communication Tools to Include Autistic Students

In this session, supporting autistic students' communication skills will be discussed. Evidence-based peer-mediated strategies will be introduced to support meaningful interactions in the early school years. Learn to integrate strategies into play and routines to increase social communication with peers, how to use reinforcement, prompting, and motivating materials, and how to promote positive inclusive attitudes of students towards their autistic peers.
