10 Practical Possibilities for Supporting Student Growth in
​Caring Classroom Communities

Learning Assistance and Resource Teachers connect students to the classroom and school community supporting a safe, caring environment where all learners thrive. This workshop provides ways to collaborate with Classroom Teachers to create learning spaces, establish norms and agreements, and teach regulation strategies. Together you can build inclusive communities which emphasize the importance of diversity, equity and regulation as anchors for learning and growth.

Jan Palmer and Julie Principe have many years of experience as Classroom/Special EducationTeachers and District Behaviour and InclusionTeacher Consultants. They share practical strategies to increase student learning by teaching regulation, setting up inclusive school environments, nurturing student choice and participation. Practical Possibilities Educational Consulting was created to provide workshops and in-service to districts, schools, and educators committed to supporting all learners.
